Another important part is the shaft of the Barbell. The oil has to flow around it to get though to the oil port. Our Billet Barbell has a 30% smaller shaft for much less flow restriction.
We have also added a 1/4-20 threaded hole in the end of our Barbell for easy removal. Just screw a 1/4-20 bolt in and pull the barbell out. No more digging and prying to get the factory one out.
Precision billet barbell
The oil kitchen barbell in LS based engine is a thing that has been paid too much attention. However, it plays a very important role in guiding the oil to the oil filter. If the oil leakage passes through the barbell, it will enter the cam bearing, tappet, crank and connecting rod bearing directly without filtration. The factory barbell is about 0.020 inch, so 500 micron particles may leak through the factory barbell. Your oil filter will filter out about 25 microns, depending on the brand of the filter. Our 6061 aluminum precision billet barbell fits a gap of about 0.001 inch and allows only about 20-25 microns to pass, which is the same as the filter.

We also added 1 / 4-20 threaded holes at the end of the barbell for easy disassembly. Just screw in 1 / 4-20 bolts and pull out the barbell. No more digging, no more prying.

3rd and 4th generation LS suction pipe hold down device (PtHD)
Saccitycorvette has a small component that can improve the reliability and tightness of the O-ring on the oil pump suction pipe. It is known that the leakage of the suction pipe leads to low oil pressure and lack of oil. To ensure that your oil pipe is flush with the oil pump so that the O-ring can work properly, please install one of our PtHD (pickup hold down device). It is easy to install, uses the existing additional holes on the oil pump and is cheap. It can help you save a lot of time and headaches, and also help your engine.

The kit is equipped with PtHD and 10.9 high grade bolts.
